Beit Mery, Mount Lebanon

Escape Into the Pines

A peaceful mountain retreat in Beit Mery, Lebanon, with private bungalows, refreshing pool days, quiet evenings and nature all around you.

Where you sleep

Three bungalows among the pines

Every bungalow is built from wood and stone and turned toward the trees. All three are identical inside and out, so whichever one is free is the one you want.

  • Up to 2 guests
  • 1 queen bed
  • Private terrace
  • Pool access
The resort's infinity pool at sunset, with sunbeds on the terrace and pines on the hillside beyond

The pool

Blue water, 450 metres up

The pool sits on a flat shelf of the property with pines standing over it on three sides. The water is cool because the mountain keeps it that way, even in August, even at two in the afternoon.

Around it: sunbeds, low tables, and enough distance between them that you can spend a whole day here without ever raising your voice.

Open all day
From nine in the morning until the light goes, May through October.
Shade that moves
Old pines circle the deck, so there is cool ground at every hour.
Quiet water
Guests only, never crowded. A pool you can actually swim lengths in.
The bar, close by
Soft drinks and snacks brought over, without leaving your sunbed.

Yoga & Pilates

Stretch out among the pines

There is space set aside for yoga and mat Pilates, and nothing else. No machines, no weights, no screens: just mats, open floor and the forest a few steps away.

Roll out in the studio, or carry your mat onto the deck by the pool and practise with the valley in front of you.

Yoga & mat Pilates
Flow, stretch and core work on the mat, at your own pace.
No machines
Mats and open floor only. Nothing plugged in, nothing humming.
Best early or late
Before the heat in the morning, or once the air cools at dusk.

Restaurant & Bar

Something cold while the kitchen is built

The restaurant is still under construction. Until it opens, the bar has you covered with soft drinks and snacks.
